JCB 20t EXCAVATOR MOVES TO CHINA
Since its launch at the end of 2013, JCB JS205 has achieved an incredible success in the Middle East, winning stare and consolidating JCB as a market leader in the 20 ton UAE market.
At the end of 2015, JCB made the strategic decision to move to China for the production of JS 205 for Asia and Far East Markets, using the same components and suppliers of Indian machines. With the fast increased volumes coming from the Indian Market- the production facility has reached to its saturation point. With immediate effect, all new JS205 machines ordered from MiddleEast will be produced in JCB factory in Shanghai, China.
Many of other competitors brands have already been manufacturing premium products in China(Like CAT 966, 320D etc) and are able to acheive higher customer pricing in the market place. As JCB has proven when it started its manufacturing in India, the JCB Global Quality remains consistent across the manufacturing foot prints , regardless it is produced in UK or any other country.
This will allow JCB to react faster to customers' demand and any unexpected variation which will in turn improve JCB's customer service and machine availability.
